I spotted something rather special for sale on a UK auction site: Carl Fogarty’s 1998 Championship-winning Ducati 996.
It’s truly a piece of World Superbike history, but can you imagine binning it on a track day?
Talking of binning it, I only recently had the chance to watch all the MotoGP races from Le Mans. In treacherous, wet conditions scores of riders simply fell off. The Moto3 race was agonising to watch as leader after leader went down. A great day day for the eventual winner, however, local lad Louis Rossi.
There’s plenty of wet weather around over here right now, so check out some of the tips here. And never forget how useful professional training can be, no matter your level of experience.
