See you at the Ride Forever Motorcycle Show

16 Sep 2017 - 17 Sep 2017

ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane Auckland

Once again, we're the title sponsor of the New Zealand Motorcycle Show, coming up this 16th and 17th of September.

The NZ Motorcycle Show at Greenlane might have only started in 2013, but it has rapidly become an institution, attracting thousands of riders and seeming to double in size every year.

The Honda RC213V, at $240,000, it's truly what dreams are made—and it was at last year's show!

Last year was the first time we took out title sponsorship of the event, with a big and prominent stand seeing plenty of foot traffic. Even better was the steady succession of riders signing up for Ride Forever training. Given that success, doing the same again this year was an easy decision.

The format for 2017 will once more incorporate the NZ Classic Bike of the Year, Best Bike in Show and Best Club or Group Display awards, with a $1,000 prize for each winner. There are other competitions too, so if you fancy taking part check out the categories at the Ride Forever Motorcycle Show website or email the organisers. There’s even a fantastic door prize: register your details to enter the draw to win a 350 Classic donated by Royal Enfield NZ.

This is our Dave's pink BSA that he goes to New World on every now and again. It might be at the show this year, eh Dave?

Run by Papakura Rotary Club, one of the main aims of the show is to raise money for charity, with all proceeds going back into the community. Last year, $140,000 was given to groups including the National Burns Unit at Middlemore Hospital, the Youth Driver Awareness Project and Educational Scholarships for disadvantaged youth.

A beautiful, custom Honda CB750, that made an appearance at last year's show.

All the major motorcycle manufacturers will be there, and the space has expanded again to 100,000 square feet. Plus the free bike parking outside is a show in itself! This year has a special commemoration for the 50th anniversary of Burt Munro’s record at Bonneville. Indian have dressed up a brand new Scout in tribute, to be auctioned at $1 reserve on Trade Me and closing live at the show.

At just $20 per adult, or $40 family ticket, the event is a must. So we hope to see you there–drop by and say hello!
