Continental have issued a recall notice on a series of 120/70R and ZR 17-inch tyres after worries about possible separation of the tread and/or belt which may lead to air loss. At the moment there are no reports of accidents or injuries and the number of reported incidents is small. However, the potential issue covers around 170,000 tyres manufactured between 2007 and 2014. The tyres affected are identified by their DOT numbers, which are reproduced below.
