There are several great riding routes at the bottom of the North Island and at the top of the South Island.

If you’re planning a long ride factor in plenty of breaks, wear full protective gear and take what you might need for the weather, take some water and rehydrate at break stops and allow plenty of time so you enjoy the ride and don’t get rushed.
